LeBaron
is a small red dry bean
cultivar which is resistant to BCMV, bean common mosaic virus.
LeBaron was developed by An Hang (Washington State University),
Matt Sibernagel (USDA-ARS - retired), Phil Miklas (USDA-ARS
Prosser) and George Hosfield (USDA-ARS East Lansing).
Navy and Black Bean Germplasm
lines USNA-CBB-1, USNA-CBB-2, USNA-CBB-3, USNA-CBB-4 and USBK-CBB-5,
having resistance to common bacterial blight, were developed by
An Hang (Washington State University), Phil Miklas (USDA-ARSProsser),
W.R. Smith (USDA-ARSMayaguez Peurto Rico), K.F. Grafton
(North Dakota State University), and J.D. Kelly (Michigan State
University).
Coho,
a red raspberry variety which yields large quantities of late-ripening,
medium large, bright red, firm berries, was released by Washington
State University, Oregon State University and the University of
Idaho. Coho is ideal for the late market season.
RG-BFT photoperiod insensitive
and rapid-flowering autogamous birdsfoot trefoil genetic stock,
is a plant variety to be used for Mendelian inheritance studies
in birdsfoot trefoil. This autogamous plant was jointly released
by the USDA-ARS, Oregon State University, Washington State University
and the University of Idaho.
Gem Russet is
a late-medium potato variety for both the fresh market and french
fry processing. The tubers of Gem Russet are desirable for these
purposes since they have less secondary growth. Gem Russet was
jointly released by the USDA Agricultural Research Service and
the state experiment stations of Idaho, Washington and Oregon.
The club wheat variety Temple
which was developed for lower rainfall areas, has superior test
weight, flour yield, overall mill score and cookie diameter when
compared with several other varieties. This club wheat was jointly
released by USDA-ARS, Oregon State University, Washington State
University and the University of Idaho.
Ida Rose is
a red-skinned potato suitable for home gardening and for the fresh
market with good long-term storage characteristics. This potato
was jointly released by the University of Idaho, Washington State
University, Oregon State University, the University of California
Davis and the USDA-ARS.
